$1.25 million was approved for JobPath's new home. JobPath's proposal for a new building was supported by the Committee, 22 to 1. All 4 coalition proposals (a JobPath Building, Affordable Housing Funding, Neighborhood Reinvestment Funding, and Open Space/Habitat Preservation funding have been recommended for full funding. The County Bond Committee now negotiates for its recommendations, the Board of Supervisors get to approve/adjust/postpone it, and then we voters get to study the final package vote on it in November.
Once again, PCIC proves that persistence and community collaboration pays off!
