PCIC challenges City Council at General Session

After numerous attempts requesting a public forum with the Mayor and Council, PCIC decried the Council's lack of leadership and public process around budget cuts to outside agencies at the General Session. PCIC, along with other Tucson area non-profits were been denied a place at the table to examine alternatives to balancing the budget on the backs of Tucson's children, youth, elderly and the disabled. Instead, the Mayor and Council have deferred the entire decision-making responsibility to City Manager, Mike Hein.
