County Supervisors vote on a Immigrant Welcoming County Resolution. Support Pima becoming the first county in Arizona and the sixth in the country to push back against anti-immigrant legislation.
Wednesday, Feb. 19, 4:00 pm, City Hall:
The Tucson Bus Riders Union will pack City Hall in order to oppose a proposed doubling of the low-income fare over the next 6 years. Once again, cuts in funding for workforce development, poverty abatement, etc. are being proposed in order to balance the City’s Budget.
State Library Cuts:
Call your state legislators to oppose HB 2379 which will result in the closing of 10 libraries in Pima County.
